Spellings are taught and given out on Mondays, with a test the following Monday.

4. Write the words in alphabetical order.
5. Ask someone at home to jumble up the letters in the words, then try to work out each anagram.
Suggestions to help you practise your spellings
- Look at the word carefully, cover the word up and try and picture it in your mind.
Then write the word and check the spelling. - Write the word in different handwriting styles e.g. bubble letters, different coloured pencils for each letter, in steps going up.
- Write a passage of text that contains all ten of your spellings.
